2pm Odette’s Tearoom, The Art of Food – Eating with the Eyes

3pm Bhangra and Biryani! Guddi and Gikki with Avtar Indian Dance

In his fast-paced, high energy demo, multi-award winning Somerset School Chef, Steve Fowell will create an awesome Tomato and Bacon Pasta Bake and give a knife skills demonstration. For all the family.
His second demo packs in three delicious and easy to make dishes in “Three ways with chicken!”.
Watching Steve Fowell cook these suppertime stunners will leave you wanting to get in your kitchen to cook with your family.
You can follow his videos & pre-order his cookbook at www.TheSchoolChef.co.uk

'The Art of Food - Eating with the Eyes' will showcase late summer platters which are easily achievable at home.  We will be looking closely at colour, form and flavour partnerships in food and presentation techniques.  The finished dish will comprise elements, which are commonly available in a Somerset cottage garden - with some French potager-style advice.

With a musical introduction from Avtar Indian Dance your taste buds will be well prepared for the wonderful authentic Indian flavours from Manveena and Chandeep, the chefs and owners of Taunton’s Guddi & Gikki restaurant.

Following the demo (and tasting) will be a free bhangra workshop with lots of audience participation.
